This is a “celebrate because he finally sighed near you after 3 weeks” kind of dog. And honestly? Those wins can feel pretty incredible.<br/>Ransom is very standoffish with new people and may avoid interaction entirely at first. Pushing him will not help — he’s looking for someone who understands that trust is earned slowly, quietly, and preferably without looming. Once he feels safe, we suspect there’s a wonderful dog waiting underneath all the anxiety, but his adopter must be willing to fall in love with potential before personality.
