Rango's Story
ST FACTS:
* 1 Years Old & 60lbs
* Dog-friendly, loves everyone he meets
* Friendly with cats & kids
* Potty-trained, but may have occasional stress-related accidents during transitions
* Crate-trained
* High-energy, with an equally cuddly side
* Curious, playful, affectionate, smart and always ready to make a new friend

At just 1 year old, Rango is a lovable Sheepadoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy paws! This handsome guy came to us as an owner surrender and is now searching for an active family ready to help him become the amazing dog he's meant to be.

Rango is a true people dog—he hasn't met a human (or another dog!) that he doesn't like. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be involved in everything you do, Rango is your guy. Whether it's playing fetch in the backyard, joining you on a hike, or simply soaking up attention on the couch after a day of adventures, he's happiest when he's with his people.

This energetic pup absolutely loves fetch and would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys walks, runs, or plenty of outdoor playtime. A fenced yard would be a huge bonus, but most importantly, Rango needs a family committed to giving him the exercise and mental stimulation a young Sheepadoodle craves.

While Rango is incredibly sweet and gentle, he's still learning the ropes. He can get a little enthusiastic during play simply because no one has taught him proper dog manners yet. The good news? He's smart, eager to learn, and has already started picking up social skills from his foster family's dogs. Continued training, playdates, or dog park adventures (with proper introductions) will help him continue to blossom.

Rango is housebroken, though he may have an occasional anxiety-related accident as he adjusts to a new environment. He's also crate trained and settles in well there when needed.

If you're searching for a fun-loving, affectionate best friend who will happily chase a tennis ball one minute and snuggle beside you the next, Rango is ready to steal your heart.

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through. Please note that we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care and our bios are our current observations; we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history and as such breed and age estimates are an educated guess.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

*ADOPTION FEE: $375

*Be at least 21 years of age

*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)

*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)

*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation

*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment

*QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR POLICIES?
