RANGO

Rango is an 11 month old lab mix. We think he might be mixed with a golden due to his hair, but not sure. Rango was found abandoned in the middle of the desert. 1 hour away from any truck stops. And 3 hours from the closest vet. We found him emaciated and with heat stroke. He was covered in fleas and ticks and starving to death. Once we got some food in him and treated at the vet, Rango started showing us more and more of his personality. He is the sweetest boy and loves people. He can be a bit shy with dogs at first, but after a few short meetings he becomes more playful with them. We dont know how long Rango was left out in the desert without food and water, but because he was in survival mode we believe it is safer for him to eat in a crate instead of with other dogs. He has been getting better about resource guarding, since he now has stability. He has shown zero food aggression with people. We want nothing but the best for Rango.
