Ranger-Foster or Adopt's Story
Ranger is the kind of dog who blooms gently — like sunlight after a cloudy morning. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a few kind words and a scratch behind the ears, and suddenly you’ve got a loyal shadow with a heart the size of Mississippi.

Ranger and his brother Romeo grew up around kids, dogs, and cats and have only ever known love from the family they were raised with. Sadly, their owners could no longer afford to care for them or get them properly vetted, but despite all the changes in their lives, these boys have remained incredibly sweet and gentle.

They’re lower-energy dogs who enjoy lounging around just as much as a romp in the yard. They’ve kenneled with dogs of all sizes without issue and are often used as “temperament test” dogs because they stay calm and non-reactive. Ranger and Romeo have also gone on outings with volunteers and have done wonderfully meeting new people and other dogs. Ranger is leash-trained, great in the car, neutered, fully vaccinated, about 2 years old, lab mix and he is ready for a home of their own.

The shelter says….once they’re in loving homes, their sweet personalities will blossom even more. All they’re missing now is someone to choose them. 🐾. Ranger and Romeo can be fostered or adopted to separate homes.

If you have a foster or furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to FHDR. Please read our homepage www.fhdr.petfinder.com to read how the adoption process works. And, please visit Furever Home Dog Rescue's homepage www.FureverHomeDogRescue.com to see some of our many reviews. Thank you!
