Ranger's Story

Meet Ranger

After spending 9 years by his human’s side, Ranger never expected that a change in housing would turn his world upside down. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy found himself surrendered to the shelter, and understandably, he’s a little confused by his sudden change in circumstances.

Ranger is a sweet, loving boy who has so much life and love left to give. He does well with children and has experience being around other dogs. He is housebroken, neutered, and current on his vaccines.

Ranger does have one special need: he does not like having his nails trimmed. His future family will need to be committed to taking him to the veterinarian regularly for safe nail trims. It’s a small bit of extra care for a boy who has already given 9 years of companionship and loyalty.

Right now, Ranger is simply looking for someone to help him understand that this new chapter can be a good one. He deserves a comfortable home, a loving family, and the chance to spend his golden years feeling safe and cherished.

Ranger didn't choose to start over at 9 years old.
