Ranger had his FHO and neuter surgeries on February 24, and what followed was not a smooth recovery.

He ended up in emergency and was hospitalized with GI issues that made it nearly impossible for him to keep weight on. It was serious. For a stretch, we weren’t sure which way this was going to go. He’s finally on the other side of that now, stabilizing and starting to gain weight again.

RGR pulled Ranger from North Central when he was out of time and committed to seeing him through, no matter what that looked like. So far, his care has cost close to $12,000.

He was supposed to have a home waiting. They asked for changes to our contract, we took the time to walk through every part of it and explain why it exists, and then they disappeared.

So now we’re looking for a home that actually cares about Ranger’s best interest, not negotiating contracts or shaping things to fit themselves.

Ranger deserves someone solid. Someone committed. Someone who is going to show up no matter what.

Now we need someone who shows up the same way for him.
