Ranger's Story
Meet Ranger, a sweet, one-year-old pup who is the perfect blend of puppy enthusiasm and a gentle, sensitive soul. At just a year old, Ranger is a fresh graduate into young adulthood, offering the best of both worlds: he is fully house-trained and already knows his basic manners, including "sit," "stay," and respecting house boundaries by staying out of off-limit rooms. While he has a wonderful foundation of training, Ranger is a big boy who still possesses plenty of that clumsy, joyful puppy energy. Because he can be a bit of a bouncy bundle of energy, he would do best in a home with older children who wont mind his playful spirit, rather than toddlers who might get accidentally knocked over during playtime.

When you first meet Ranger, you will notice that he is a bit of a wallflower. He is very wary around new people and will usually find a safe spot to hide until he has had ample time to get comfortable. He needs a patient forever family who understands that he just needs to take the world at his own pace. However, the reward for your patience is absolutely unmatched. Once Ranger warms up and realizes he is safe, his true lovebug personality shines through. If you sit down on the floor, he will immediately swoop in to wrap you up in big doggy hugs and shower you with sweet, appreciative kisses.

When he isnt practicing his professional cuddling skills, Rangers absolute favorite place to be is outside. He has a powerful engine and loves nothing more than sprinting around the yard, chasing tennis balls, and enthusiastically keeping an eye on the local squirrels. Despite his high energy outdoors, he is an incredibly polite and quiet roommate. Ranger rarely ever barks unless he is actively trying to invite someone into a game of play. He is remarkably friendly with other pets, absolutely loving the company of other dogs and doing wonderfully with dog-savvy cats. Ranger just needs a little time, a lot of love, and a family ready to show him how wonderful the world can be.
