Ranger's Story

$150 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Ranger was taken from his home by animal control as he was living in unsanitary conditions. He was underweight and scared meeting new people. He had to have the majority of his teeth removed due to them being rotten and infected. Within days of his surgery, his happy personality started coming out. Hes now enjoying zoomies on the grass and becoming playful with humans and other dogs! Once comfortable with you, he will snuggle and give kisses. Hes turning into a sweet boy. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway. EXPOSURE TO CHILDREN: teens and toddlers RECOMMENDATION FOR CHILDREN: I think he would do well around kids of all ages HOUSETRAINED: not sure, hes been kept outside as we have too many dogs inside. He likes to mark outside, and when I say his name sternly as hes starting to mark something I dont want him to, he will stop so this tells me hes definitely trainable. He came to us underweight and from a very unsanitary home so he probably had to fight for food at his previous home.
