He spent his days alone in the backyard, waiting for someone who was never coming back. Despite everything he's been through, this gentle giant still loves with his whole heart.<br/><br/>Ranger is the sweetest boy. He's affectionate, happy, and just wants to be close to his people. He forms strong bonds quickly and has the kind of loyal personality German Shepherds are known for. He's wonderful on a leash, knows sit and shake, and is incredibly gentle for such a big guy. At 92 pounds, he's all love.<br/><br/>Ranger also does good with other dogs and would love a family that will include him in all of life's adventures. Because he can climb chain-link fences, hell need a home with a tall wooden privacy fence or a family committed to leash walks.<br/><br/>Ranger has already experienced what it feels like to be left behind. Now he's just looking for someone to show him that home is forever. <br/><br/>Ranger is a 4 year old German Shepherd and he weighs 92 lbs.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
