Ranger's Story

Meet Ranger A Five-Star Gentleman Looking for His Forever Couch
Also known as: Red Dr. Red Duke Inspector
If you've ever wished for a companion who's easygoing, charming, and just opinionated enough to keep things interesting allow us to introduce you to Ranger.
This handsome 5-year-old beagle is bowlegged and proud of it. He struts like he owns every room he walks into white socks on all four feet, white-tipped tail held high and honestly? He might be right. Those who know him well call him Red for his warm coloring, Dr. Red Duke when he's feeling particularly distinguished, and Inspector because this boy does not miss a thing. Every corner checked. Every arrival noted. Every suspicious rustling in the backyard investigated with the full weight of his considerable authority.

Life with Ranger
Ranger is the definition of a low-drama houseguest. He's fully potty trained, has mastered the doggie door like a seasoned professional, and won't leave you guessing about what he needs mostly because what he needs is simple: your company, a comfy spot near your bed, and maybe a little of whatever you're snacking on.
He's an elite work-from-home companion. Whether you're on your fourth Zoom call of the day or deep into a Netflix binge, Ranger will be right there beside you, perfectly content to log those couch hours alongside you. He takes his support role every bit as seriously as his inspection duties.
At night, he'd love nothing more than a bed next to yours or at the foot of it if you prefer. He's flexible. He's a gentleman, after all.

Who He Gets Along With
Other dogs no problem Kids absolutely Adults his favorite Cats the jury is still out (we'd recommend a cautious introduction)

A Note on the Inspector's... Methods
Ranger excuse us, the Inspector has a few signature moves you should know about:
The Grumble. Occasionally, Ranger will issue a low, dignified grumble. This is not aggression. This is a gentle reminder that you have been ignoring him for an unreasonable amount of time and he would like that to stop immediately. Dr. Red Duke did not go through all this trouble to be overlooked.
The Welcome Bay. He uses his full beagle voice sparingly mostly to greet you when you walk through the door (you're welcome, it's very flattering) or to alert the neighborhood that another dog has been spotted in the vicinity. He considers this a public service. The Inspector files his reports promptly.
The Leash Walk. He's good on a leash. No theatrics. Just a bowlegged beagle trotting alongside you, four little white socks marching along like he's headed somewhere very important because in his mind, he always is.
