I am a 3-4 year-old boy looking for my Furever Family that will give</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">me a safe spot to lay my head and wag my tail! My foster mom says that all I need to do is put</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">my dating profile up on GLWR to find my fur-fect match! I cant wait to see who wants to</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">meet me! I have to tell my own story because I was found mid-winter doing some freestyle</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">running along a highway when I was picked up by the dog warden. I hid in the corner of my</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">cage, so scared, until the good people of GLWR picked me up and got me to my foster family.</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">They immediately fell in love with me (hey, whats not to love?!) and I quickly became one of the</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">pack with 3 other GLWR Weim rescue dogs. They had been there for years so I just followed</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">their lead. I love people and other dogs, but they are older and really set in their ways so we</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">dont get to play much. Mom says I have to list my loves and dont care fors so that people</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">will know the real me! So here we go!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Loves:</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Snuggles - I will even jump up on your lap, lean in, and give you a hug! I just cant get</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">close enough to my hoomans!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Kisses - I will kiss anyone and everyone - mom says I need to be a bit more exclusive!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Food - I will eat anything! (unfortunately mom and dad have to watch my fondness for</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">sticks and leaves)</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Crate - I need an airline crate because the darker walls make me feel safer with the</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">denning effect.</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Hoomans - I just love people, and I think everyone loves me too!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Dogs - I like dogs too, but I need safe introductions to dogs you may not be comfortable</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">with my exuberant personality!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Sleep - I sleep when you sleep! I like to sleep with my humans because they make me</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">feel so safe - I even like to snuggle under the blankets and curl up next to them!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Play - I love to play and do fun things with anyone!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Love - I cant give enough love and I am the poster dog for rescue - I know I have been</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">rescued and I do not ever want to go back to my old life again!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Dont Care For:</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Storms - even just rain. I get anxious and my family often finds me hiding behind the</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">couch.</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Staying on all 4 paws - unfortunately my mom says I have the knock-down factor</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">because I get so excited to see my family and I like to jump on them. We are working on</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">this, so I need continued training. I would do best with people who are stable on their</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">feet and do regular exercise because I need that too!</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation"></span> <span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Staying home alone - I do ok in my airline crate for 8-9 hours (a workday), but I can</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">pretty much chew out of wire ones and will shred any type of bedding due to my anxiety.</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">Because I am a counter surfer, I will do better crated or in a dog-proofed room.</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">My foster family would love to keep me if they didnt have 3 dogs already because they say I am</span><br role="presentation" /><span dir="ltr" role="presentation">one of the best fosters they have ever had out of 25+.
