Mom was a mini Australian shepherd (now called a Miniature American Shepherd, FYI but not yet a choice on the Petfinder list) - dad was a traveling salesman. DNA testing reveals 27% Miniature American Shepherd, 12% beagle, 11% Australian Shepherd, and less than 9% each of 14 other breeds. Yes, they are all American mutts. And what does that get you? You get a dog that is smarter, healthier and more patriotic than most. This was an accidental breeding, mom is now spayed and the people did a good job socializing these three while seeking rescue. They are 16 weeks old right now. The rule of thumb is that you double a puppy's wright at 16 weeks to estimate their adult weight. Right now, Randy is nearly 16 pounds and Roger is 15 pounds. Sister Riplee is 11 pounds. I'm guestimating their adult weights to be 35 to 40 pounds for the boys and 25ish pounds for Riplee. As for the picture situation, I have included one decent picture of each pup with their bio but, frankly, trying to photograph 3 happy, playful pups by myself is an exercise in futility so I had to post group shots and identify each puppy. These pups are pretty darn great. As I said, they are well socialized and doing well at figuring out appropriate potty placement. They are all neutered and spayed, with all first year shots on board, including Neopar, well wormed and microchipped. Each one will have and adoption fee of $325.
