Ramsey's Story

Ramsey is a 7 to 8 year old silky terrier/ Yorkie mix who is about 16 pounds. He came to us by a good Samaritan, a lady who Ramsey found during a recent rain storm. Not only was Ramsey soaking wet but he was also covered with burrs, he immediately ran up to this young lady as in asking for help. She was able to track down the owner but they said that they didn't want him. She didn't contacted us for help.<br/>Ramsey is a foster care with the good Samaritan at this time he is great with other dogs and cats that prefers a calmer dog and needs to be introduced slowly<br/>Ramsey is a cuddle bug and he loves his treats. Sometimes he isn't interested in playing but would rather take a nap and he just learned what a dog bed is Ramsey has had a hard life and will need some adjustment time he also needs a bit of potty training his foster mom said he is doing well with it overall. He is currently up-to-date on vaccinations it is neutered he is also a flea and heartworm preventative and his teeth are great and overall is a handsome guy<br/>If you are interested in adopting Ramsey applications are being accepted at this time there is $150 adoption fee.

Our Adoption Process: *You must complete an adoption application before meeting an animal. *We do all checks on references and vet checks. *Please let your references know we will be calling. *Once approved, you can set up an appointment to meet any of the animals at the Granite City Animal Control, or the ones in foster homes. *There will be a meet and greet and then a home visit. *After that you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. $85 for Rabbits / $80 for Cats / $100 Kittens / $150 for Dogs / $200 for Puppies Six Months & Under All our animals are completely vetted with the required vaccinations, microchipped and spayed/neutered before leaving the rescue.
