Ramsey1

Ramsey is an 8 1/2 year old neutered male American Bulldog mix. He came from a very sad situation, owner died and left him and two other dogs. Ramsey loved his owner so much, he was actually laying beside her when the coroner came in the house. It was a horrible scene and I think Ramsey really has grieved the lost of his owner. Ramsey's two furry sisters were small/ medium size dogs so they were adopted quickly, but due to Ramsey's size, he is still looking for his forever home. He is a big boy, weighing 98 pounds! He is a Southern Gentleman with loads of love to give to you! He loves to go on car rides so he would be great traveling companion! Ramsey loves people and he is a good boy with children too. He does need to be in your home with no other animals so you can give him all the attention. He is selective with certain dogs but we hate to say he is not good with all dogs because he was in a home with other dogs. We believe that the shelter setting has been a lot of this boy and he will do much better in a home. He is housebroken as our volunteers have all taken turns bringing this dude home for a few days to get a break from the shelter life. <br/><br/>We would love nothing more than to find this sweet buddy his forever home.
