This very handsome young lad has been waiting patiently for his chance to be up for adoption and here he is! Rambo came in the shelter as a pup without much direction, difficulty understanding what it means to be on a leash and ready to tackle the world on his terms. He has worked really hard with some volunteers on learning all about leash training and has made tremendous strides. Rambo loves to play in the yard with toys and will give one up to chase another one. He knows how to sit for his toy, for a treat and is learning to sit patiently in his kennel to go out for his walk or yard time. He will also entertain himself in the yard happily rolling around in the grass, tossing a toy around, and finding small places to lay under and be happy. He enjoys climbing in your lap and loves snuggle time. One of his favorite things to do is climb in a car for a ride and sprawl out in the back seat waiting to find out his destination. Rambo can be a bit stubborn at times, and is learning that he must be part of a team and will get his reward when he does. This lucky guy is in a board/train facility, The Dog Bar, thru the shelters Train A Bull program to brush up his skills and make him ready to move into his furever home. While he is in training, you can still meet him, and he can move right into a home once training is completed! <br/> Rambo has done well with other dogs he has spent in the yard with but we always require a meet and greet with a resident dog.
