Rambo's Story

Meet Rambo/ Carl, Hanover County Animal Shelter's LONGEST RESIDENT. Since June of 2025, he has persisted. He has become a steadfast and constant presence in the shelter and we all love him very much. He is very goofy, LOVES toys of all kind (though be careful he will absolutely destroy a stuffy,) is super agile, and loves being outside for play time. He really needs to get out of the shelter and is starting to show signs of significant stress and struggle. Carl needs to be an only dog in his home BUT can safely interact with other dogs on leash. He is really a gem that keeps getting overlooked.
