Great Lakes Mini Schnauzer Rescue's Adoption Policy

We put the needs of the dog first and compatibility between dog and family members is our first criteria for adoption. Meeting the dog and/or a home visit is no guarantee of adoption. We follow a process to help make the best match for dog and family. Some of our dogs require a fenced yard, some do not. We base this requirement on the needs of the dog. Unless the dog surrendered came from an electric fence, we do not adopt to electric fenced homes.
