Ralph's Story
Ralph is a big-hearted gentle giant who is absolutely certain he was born to be a lapdog, professional snuggler, and full-time companion.
About Ralph
Ralph is friendly, affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when he is close to his people.
He knows some basic commands and is eager to please and learn new skills.
Despite having countertops conveniently located at mouth level, Ralph has been respectful around food.
Ralph is generally quiet indoors, although he may let out a few cries when he spots people or squirrels.
He gets excited about squirrels and other dogs on walks and may pull because he wants to say hello and join the fun. He is still learning his walking manners.
Ralph has shown some mild separation worries when his people leave and will need patience and reassurance while he learns that being alone is okay.
Short walks followed by serious napping and snuggling are right up Ralph's alley.
Ralph may be big, but his exercise needs are modest. His true athletic specialty is relaxing.

Ralph Would Do Best in a Home Where
There is plenty of love, affection, and appreciation for an oversized cuddlebug.
There is enough indoor space for Ralph to stretch out comfortably and navigate.
A securely fenced yard would be a bonus so he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time.
He can enjoy short, leisurely walks followed by plenty of opportunities to nap and snuggle.
His family is willing to patiently help him build confidence when left alone.
His adopters will continue working on polite leash walking around exciting distractions.
A friendly canine playmate is possible, although Ralph could also be perfectly happy as the only dog.

Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible.
