RAIN's Story

Rain is a ray of sunshine on even the cloudiest day. This 7-ish year-old lady is a bundle of joy, with a playful spirit and a heart as big as her namesake. She's a pro at sitting pretty and giving the slobbery kisses that only a true dog lover can appreciate! Rain is an independent soul who also loves affection and knows how to listen. She's a smart girl who is fascinated by shadows and loves to play with her rope toy. But watch out—she swings it with gusto! Rain is also a water baby, and her favorite thing to do is splash and romp in her very own swimming pool.

At 70 pounds, Rain is a good girl with a big presence. She's cat-friendly and gets along with all her large breed foster siblings. Rain is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, crate-trained, and housebroken. She's the whole package, waiting for her forever home! Rain is currently hanging out in Virginia Beach, hoping her new family will come along soon and give her all the love and kisses she deserves. Could that be you?

ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Chapel Hill, NC.
