RAIN's Story

RHR Rain as described by her foster: 7 yo, rather calm yet playful, spayed female. Knows sit….. kisses her humans with lots of tongue ? loves kitties. Can be bossy but listens to corrections. Slings rope toy around that could give concussions. Alerts to strangers but not a barker. Fascinated or infatuated with shadows. Adorable in all the right ways. She is independent but loves affection too. Rain is spayed, UTD on vaccines and heartworm negative. She is CAT-FRIENDLY. She loves all of her foster brothers and sisters except a small female. Crate trained and house broke. 70 pounds at her last vet check. Currently fostered in Virginia Beach. *** ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Chapel Hill, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $300, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. The majority of RHR dogs are fostered in individual homes and are accustomed to living indoors as part of the family. All dogs are spayed/neutered unless medical reasons preventing this exist and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.
