Raider's Story

Hi there, I'm Raider! What do you need to know about me? I adore ALL people including kiddos. Strangers (including kiddos) come for a visit, and I love it!

I am also house, and kennel trained. I don't need to be kenneled at all because I'm a super good boy free roaming by myself in the home too! A very good boy in the home and on car rides too. AND I love my toys – all of them. Squeaky toys, sports balls such as a basketball and soccer ball, ropes, plush toys. The list goes on and on. I'm a squeaky toy enthusiast too! Give me a toy that makes noise and I'm the happiest pup around.

I’m also a smart boy too. I already know the following commands: "sit", "shake", "down" "wait" and learning "leave it". My shake is simply adorable or so I’m told. Get this: Foster dad (FD) is not a dog person at all. He is fine with foster mom (FM) fostering and she has fostered some really cool dogs for the last 20 years. BUT - FD told FM that I'm one of the very "bestest" foster dogs she's ever brought home. How about "them apples"? Pretty neat if you ask me. So, if you are a dog lover but your partner is so so on dogs - please think about me. I promise you I will win your partner over.

You know what I'd love even more than all the toys in the world? A person(s) to share life with. I'm 5 years old, and life hasn't always been easy. I was found alone in a field by animal control, but I've put the past behind me and am ready to find a home where I can be someone's whole world!

People are my favorite. I don't need much, just a soft blanket, a few squeaky toys, and someone to hang out with. I'm happiest when I can be near you. If you're working, I'll curl up on the floor next to you and keep you company. If you're relaxing, I'll be right there too. I'm loyal, quiet (except when I'm squeaking my toys), and full of love!

I do need to be the only pet in your home, no other dogs or cats for me please. But I promise, I have more than enough love to go around. If you're looking for a sweet, steady companion who just wants to be near you, I'm your guy.

I’m living in a foster home (lovin’ the home environment) so email/call (information below) and let’s get a meeting set up – ok? Super excited to meet you.

All my love and kisses,

Raider xxxxxxx

adoptions@greatplainsspca.org
or call (913) 831-7722 (SPCA)
