RAIDER's Story

Raider: The Bat-Eared Explorer

Looking for a best friend who’ll keep you smiling and your heart full? Raider is your girl! This young, energetic pup (about 11⁄2 years old) is full of curiosity and joy. Her adorable bat ears are always perked up, ready to catch the sound of a treat bag—or maybe a squirrel rustling nearby (she gets a little excited about those!).

Raider loves life’s simple pleasures: playing fetch, squeaking her favorite toys, and going for car rides to see the world. She’s a smart cookie who already knows “sit” and “come,” especially when treats are involved!

She can be a bit enthusiastic on leash—there’s just so much to explore—but once out of her kennel, she settles in beautifully. Raider may not show her best self behind kennel doors; she just wants to be out where the fun and love are.

Raider recently earned an A+ on her “Barks and Rec” field trip, where she went hiking and relaxed at a volunteer’s home. The report? “Kind and friendly.” That’s Raider in a nutshell.

Raider has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out her playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
