Raider's Story
Raider is a 10 year old 22 lb male chihuahua who we rescued from euthanasia at a high intake shelter. He is neutered, vaccinated, and potty trained. We paid for his dental surgery.
Poor Raider was surrendered to the county shelter in Modesto as a senior after his human was moved to hospice. He was very fearful in the shelter, but has blossomed into his sweet self in foster.
Raider is still shy with new people, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He loves getting pets, going on walks, and spending time with his person. Because he is a senior and has a shy personality, we do not think he would do well with the chaos of living with children.
Raider would love to be an only dog, but he also does well with calm friendly small dogs. He is afraid of large dogs. He does well with friendly cats.
