Ragnar's Story

This handsome guy is a 6 year old neutered Siberian Husky/Liaka mix who was surrendered to AURR due to a change in living circumstances that left his owner with no other options.
His time in foster care has proven much like his owner stated, he is a well-mannered and loving boy. He has been exposed to many other dogs and has displayed zero aggression towards them in normal settings; he can be a little guarded around his food but easily managed. He walks nicely on leash, his recall is excellent in confined outdoor yards and in the house, he has not been vetted off leash yet. He is fully house trained and does well in a kennel. He is wonderful with children so far, seeking out their attention. This mellow guy loves a cool place to lay down in the house but in typical Husky mannerism will contently sit outside and enjoy the day as well. He is a medium drive dog, enjoys activities but will also come inside the house and help hold the floor down. If the puppy stage isn’t for you and you’d like an easy-going companion, he is the one!

To apply to adopt Ragnar, please fill out the form located at www.alaskaunderdogsrescue.org/foster-adopt-app
