Hi Friends! My name is Rafikki! That's right, just like the Lion King. Ive had that name since I was born and I know it very well.<br/><br/>Here's my story. I'm roughly 2.5 years old, I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on my heartworm testing.<br/><br/>I'm a mixed breed dude, as my mom and dad were both Heinz 57 mixes.<br/><br/>The past year life hasn't been kind to me, and I didn't have all the things I needed to thrive, but my love for people never stalled. I love everyone I meet.<br/><br/>I probably will need some help with my manners, and with basic household skills, but I promise I will melt into you and be the best dog ever. I need a home that has a good structure. I am a fence jumper, so I will need someone to teach me boundaries, and be willing to leash walk me until I learn those boundaries.<br/><br/>I'm a fantastic boy and I enjoy the company of other dogs and I might do okay living with cats. Just need some time to warm up to them, and some firm boundaries set.<br/><br/>I would love to meet you; you can stop by the shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
