Rafe Feist & Terrier Mix Dresden, TN

My name is Rafe, and I had a very rough beginning. My sister and I were dumped in the country, and we had no food to eat. We tried eating many things, including nails. One was found in my sister's stomach. She fought a very hard battle with many things going on in her tiny body, but she didn't have the strength to survive. Her name was Leilani, and I miss her. I'm trying my best to live a full life to make up for her very short one.

I'm a happy boy, and I enjoy my life here at Red Fern, but something is missing. I have good friends who love me, but I don't have a family of my own. I'm an energetic guy, so I'm looking for someone who doesn't want a couch potato. I'm also looking for someone who doesn't have cats! Those guys are NOT my friends, and I believe the best defense is a good offense!

I'm as sharp as can be! I'm hoping you'll enjoy spending time with me and maybe teaching me a few tricks. I think I would be a good agility dog! I'm a good size at only about 25 pounds, and I'm as fast as the wind! I love challenges that are quick and active. Maybe even Frisbee? Wouldn't that be fun?
