Rada - Picardy Shepherd's Story

The hardest thing is in the shelter for a dog like Rada who is affectionate, kind, and loves people. These dogs are locked in a cage 24/7, and so on year after year. Rada is a mixed breed of Picardy Shepherd, medium size, she will become a devoted companion and reliable watchman. Smart, good-natured, moderately active, treats children well and loves communication. Super-balanced dog. There is a feeling that Rada understands people. Understanding and kind. She communicates well with dogs and walks well on a leash. Very obedient. She has a hard time enduring loneliness in the shelter, and is always very reluctant to go into the cage and asks to go back. Spayed and vaccinated. Visually healthy. Age 2-3 years. Approximate height 24 inches and weight 55 pounds. Rada will be a wonderful companion, watchdog and protector.

Rada lived in a home and after her owner died, she was left on the street. We do not know how long she survived on the street. Volunteers found her and placed her in a shelter where she lived for two months. Rada was very unhappy locked in a cage, but loved contact with people when volunteers would come to play and walk with her. She has now been placed and in a foster home and is much happier.
