Rachel is one of the adorable Friends Girls, born June 22, 2026 to a Poodle mom and Shih Tzu mix dad. She is the smallest and shyest of the three, with the cutest scruffy fur and those short little legs that tell us she’ll be a low rider just like her dad.<br/><br/>Rachel is a gentle girl who takes life a little more slowly. She can be easily startled by loud noises, so a calm, quieter home without young children would be the best fit for her. She needs a family who will give her the time and patience to feel safe and comfortable in her new surroundings.<br/><br/>When Rachel first meets someone new, she needs a little time to warm up. Once she decides you’re okay, though, she enjoys getting some attention and soaking up a little love. And when she’s had enough? Rachel is perfectly happy to settle down and relax on her own.<br/><br/>Rachel taught herself how to use the doggy door, is doing well with puppy pads, and is even learning to potty outside on command! She’ll need continued consistency and encouragement as she learns her house-training and good manners.<br/><br/>Rachel will need a family prepared for the work that comes with puppyhood. She’ll need continued house-training, positive socialization, basic obedience, age-appropriate exercise and play, mental stimulation, and plenty of patience. Because she is naturally shy and sensitive to loud noises, gentle exposure to new experiences at her own pace will be especially important.
