Rachel -ADOPTION PENDING's Story

My mom forgot I was in the house. I got very hungry. She was taken away and the family didn't want me so the neighbor stepped in and reached out to Act2Pups and here I am. I was frightfully skinny. I'm slowly gaining weight, I do love food. I know I enjoy playing but, right now I'm resting and recovering. My teeth need cleaning and once that happens I'll be ready for a home that will never forget me. I'm fine with other dogs even though I'm older, at 14. My foster mom says I deserve the best forever home. I couldn't agree more, I'm a great pup!

Act2Pups Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

It is always best to make sure your pet(s) get along with the Act2Pups pet that you are interested in. This can be done at an adoption event, or an appointment can be arranged. We ask that all family members visit at the same time if possible. To start the adoption process a completed application is needed. (We currently do not have our application on line, but hope to soon). We will e-mail a copy of the application. Once the application is processed and approved a home visit is performed. This is done more to make sure any concerns pertinent to the dog you are interested in can be addressed. Most senior dogs don't require a large fenced yard. A trial adoption can begin with the home visit. Should the trial begin at the home visit, Act2Pups provides everything the dog requires. The trial usually lasts no more than a week. Any time during the trial the applicant can choose to adopt. All of our senior pups are in foster homes. Contact: act2pups@yahoo.com for additional information on any of our pups.
