Rachel's Story

Rachel is a 50lb, 8yr old black and brindle catahoula leopard dog that is a sweet, independent lady. She likes slow walks and nice, quiet naps. Rachel is looking for a low-key life filled with a comfy spot to lay, snacks and scratches. Adopted back in 2018, she was surrendered back to the rescue as she became aggressive with dogs in her former home. Therefore, a home without cats, small children and other dogs is preferred. Rachel walks well on a leash, rides well in a car, is house and crate trained. She's a favorite around the rescue with her calm demeanor and sweet nature. Rachel is available to foster or adopt. Please complete an online application at tailsandtrails.org. Once approved, a meet and greet will be set up.
