Rachel's Story
Rachel came to Saving Grace on October 3, 2020. We were contacted by a concerned citizen in Levelland about a dog abandoned when her owners moved. She was starving and skittish of people. When we arrived to try to catch her, she had two injured chihuahua friends with her, so they became Rachel, Joey, and Phoebe. All three are so improved. Rachel has made a remarkable physical transformation. She's a beautiful girl, inside and out. She's the happiest wiggliest dog you'll ever meet. She is pure joy and love. Rachel is so deserving of a true forever home that will love and care for her unconditionally. She has a weak hip that was likely injured from being hit by a car at some point in her life. She is now in a foster home and doing so well. She lives with dogs of all sizes, male and female, and does great with everyone. Rachel is young and playful, and walks well on a leash. She's very smart! She knows sit, down, shake, crawl, and roll over. Contact us if you're interested in meeting her.
