Rachel's Story

The best things come in furry little packages; in this case it's in the form of Rachel. Rachel is a mix of a few things; some terrier, some bully, maybe some boxer, perhaps some herding dog, maybe a little labrador retriever thrown in for good measure. Bottom line; she's perfect!

Rachel's foster family says that she is a very laid-back; and LOVES to explore. The human kiddos in her foster home have made a game of "raptors in the bushes" when her and her siblings run and play.

A Note From Rachel's Foster Mom:

"Rachel is the little light that we all need in our lives; she is going to make the most amazing addition to a family."

Rachel would really benefit from puppy classes as she is so smart, witty, and loves to learn and explore. While in her foster home, Rachel is working on the basic things like house training, basic commands, socialization, and manners.

Rachel will do well in a home with or without other dogs, but she would REALLY like a home that has kids in it (she loves kids!)

Rachel is a total snugglebug and really loves to be close to her humans; she also does fine when she spends time by herself. What a well-rounded puppy right?!

Rachel is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines; on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and the cost of her spay procedure is included in her adoption fee.

Rachel will go into her new home with her bed, her bowls, toys, leash, collar, harness, and some food to get her transitioned.

Note: Cause for Paws Rescue requires adoptive homes to be within a 100 mile radius of Byron, Illinois.

Applications to adopt Rachel can be found on our website causeforpaws.net

Thank you for choosing adoption!
