Rac the Racoony Pup's Story

🐕🐾✨💙🐼 Meet Rac 🐼💙 🐕🐾✨........located in Houston, TEXAS

Husky Mix
62 lbs
Estimated birthdate: 3/11/2023
Adoption fee: $625 (includes transport)

Rac, short for his Raccoon looking markings, is an outgoing and active guy! He exudes happiness all day long, especially if he gets lots of playtime with his dog buddies to practice zoomies with and his foster dad who plays great with him and his toys. This guy loves to go for long walks and new adventures, although loading into a car isn't his favorite but riding in the car is part of the adventure he loves! It may take a little TLC to let Rac's initial shyness dissolve, but once he trusts you, he's a best bud for life!

Rac was rescued from a winter freeze where he had no shelter. He was being fed in the street by a neighbor who discovered him roaming around just a couple weeks before the freeze and she was unable to house him. Fortunately Rac's fate changed when his foster dad came to the rescue upon getting word from a friend of the neighbor. Rac spent some time with trainer for extra support and guidance on being an indoor resident vice the street life he was used to. He's been doing great in his caring foster home with fun fur siblings, dogs only though as Rac is too energetic for the kitties. His foster dad says he is very sweet and loves all the attention he can get.

Rac would thrive in an active home going for hikes, hanging out with playful buds, and cuddling up to his loved ones! He loves to try new things and he does great in a car! He is a fun, happy sweetheart ready to be with his forever family who can show him patience and unconditional love.

Rac is a 62 lb Alaskan Husky mix. His estimated DOB is 3/11/2023.
