ROmeo's Story

Romeo

About 3 years old 44 lbs. Mixed Breed

Romeo is just ridiculously good-looking. Long legs, perfect perky ears, 44 lbs and in fantastic shape. He has that tall, elegant supermodel build that makes walking him around feel like you're showing off.

And yes, he knows how to walk. Show Romeo a leash and suddenly you are his best friend.

For such a handsome, confident-looking guy, Romeo can occasionally act like he's scared of his own shadow. But give him a little time, a good walk and, most importantly, treats, and you'll see the sweet boy underneath all those model looks.

One of Romeos absolute favorite places is his crate. He genuinely loves having a space that belongs to him, which makes us pretty confident Romeo is going to be a I need my man cave kind of dog. He will happily be part of the family, but sometimes a man needs to retire to his quarters.

Hes surprisingly calm for a young dog and really enjoys simply being comfortable and having his space.

Romeo is handsome, sweet, a little sensitive, treat-motivated and an excellent walking companion. Romeo also does great with other dogs and is good with cats, so those supermodel looks come with some pretty solid social skills too. He can fit into a home with canine or feline roommates.

Basically: supermodel on the outside, slightly shy introvert on the inside, great with dogs and cats, and happiest knowing he has his own little man cave to retreat to when the world gets a bit too people-y.

+Shelter staff informs:
While we can't guarantee that this dog is 100% house trained, it is a very clean dog that spends days in a big outdoor run and nights in sleeping quarters. We also find no bedtime accidents in the morning. We do not know for certain how this dog would do living with children, as we do not know if it ever lived in a home environment with kids yet. However, this dog has not shown aggression toward any humans, of any age, at the shelter. As with any dog, we always recommend careful supervision and slow responsible introductions and interactions when children are involved.

Romeo is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date his fle, tick & heartworms prevention.
