Quinn's Story

Hello I am QUINN and I'm a very sweet Staffie & Lab mix who is just 8 months old. I weigh 40 pounds now so I'll most likely be 50 pounds when I'm all grown up in a couple of months. I have a beautiful silky black coast and the cutest white socks on my paws. I'm a very friendly guy and and as you can see in my video I love to meet other pups and I'm always wagging my tail and respectful even though I'm still a puppy. I'm always happy and get along great with everyone I meet and love to get love. I'm a smart guy and an innocent soul who just wants to be loved. I'll be a great family member and can easily live with a doggie sibling but would be happy as a solo pup if my family is fun and active. I'd love a home in a suburban neighborhood with a fully fenced yard. I'm healthy, up to date on all my vaccinations and neutered so I'm ready to find my forever family! Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) to get lots more info & great videos of me. Hurry up...I'm waiting for you!

Long Road Home's Adoption Policy
Where do we get our dogs? Majority of our dogs come from high kill shelters. Some are owner surrender or strays. All of the dogs that come into our rescue have been in high emergency situations where they would not be wagging their tails. We work with a lot of shelters in the south as well as on long island. We have wonderful people who dedicate their time to the dogs and transport them into our long island foster homes.   What happens to the dog after we accept it into the program? All of the dogs first go to see a vet. Once they receive a clean bill of health the go into a home. We normally give each dog at least a week in a home with qualified trainer before we place the dog into a foster. We really like to have the dogs house broken and to have at least started basic obedience training. After the trainer we place the dog into its new foster home until it finds its forever home.
