Queso's Story
Meet Queso! Once a stray, he now enjoys all the comforts of being an adored pup in his foster home. He likes to be close to people, would be great as a travel dog or ride along friend. Queso would enjoy a dog friend to be cuddle and play friends with, but it’s not required. He would do well with a family or single person - with or without children who are over 8 and respectful/understanding of a nervous small dog who can 'get under your feet'.

Queso is very food motivated and will go so far as to drink your morning coffee if you leave it unattended. He doesn't seek out affection but is working hard to trust people and learn 'how to dog' from his furry foster friends. He has learned a lot in his foster home and we believe he will successfully adjust in almost any environment with a little patience... and lots of blankets!

Name: Queso

Breed: Mixed Breed - Rat Terrier Mix

Age: ~3 year

Weight: ~14lb

Sex: Male, neutered

Colour: Tri-colour

Medical: Antibiotics for infected neuter incision

Good with men: Yes, friendly

Good with women: Yes, friendly

Good with kids 0-6: Unknown, not tested - suggest 8+

Good with kids 7-15: Yes, has lived with children and does well

When the dog meets new people he…Approaches happily, Wants affection

Good with dogs: Yes

How does this dog react to meeting new dogs?
