Meet Quentin

Calm and low key for a one year old, yes, it’s true. Quentin is very easy going. On walks he’ll greet another dog and move on. However, as soon as Meghan enters a room at home it becomes romper room and after playtime he will disengage and settle. With that being said, if he becomes part of a multi dog household, the family should be aware he will be incredibly playful and have heightened excitement. We think he’s a Greyador, given is long, lean physique and curled tail. He will need a good sized, fenced yard to run. Our Lab can’t keep up with him.

He is house trained, good with cats, and good with kids. When he wants to engage with a cat he will bark (that’s the only time he barks too). If he’s the only dog, we think any age child would be fine. However, if there will be another dog in the house, we think the knock down factor will be an issue with his playfulness. Therefore, 12 and up may be better. He does do steps, which we found out when the baby gate was left down accidentally once. His favorite toys are rope bones (non-fabric), Kongs, and tennis balls. Stuffed animals and fabric rope bones get destroyed. He will allow you to put your fingers in his mouth and a toothbrush. He rides well in the car and seldom pulls on a walk unless he’s leaning in to meet another dog. His family will need to continue to work on commands and training. Quentin is going to make a family very happy.
