Queenie's Story

Meet Queenie - The Queen of Belly Rubs

If you're looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Queenie may be your perfect match.

This beautiful 5-year-old, 54-pound girl is one of the most affectionate dogs we have. Queenie loves people and isn't shy about asking for attention. Whether she's leaning against your leg, following you from room to room, or rolling over for a belly rub, she wants nothing more than to be with her favorite humans.

Queenie is a star at adoption events and happily welcomes attention from adults and children alike. At a recent outing with a local high school track team, her student handlers nicknamed her "Tank" after their walk. But every time volunteers turned around, Queenie had somehow convinced another student to stop and give her belly rubs. Before long, she had an entire fan club.

She is house trained, crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and has excellent house manners. Queenie enjoys daily walks and outdoor time but is equally happy relaxing with her people afterward.

Queenie walks nicely past other dogs on outings and can comfortably enjoy public events but prefers not to interact closely with them. She prefers to be the only pet in her home, where she can focus on what she loves best - her people.

Despite being such a wonderful dog, Queenie has been waiting far too long for a family of her own. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her sweet personality and enormous heart.

If you're ready for a loyal companion and professional belly-rub enthusiast, Queenie is ready to make you the center of her kingdom.
