Q*Bert's Story
Meet Q*Bert!?

This 3 year old, 67lb boy has energy to spare and a curious nose that loves to explore the world one scent at a time. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a new hiking trail, Q*Bert is happiest when he’s out discovering new things—and even happier when he’s doing it with you.

Q*Bert is curious about other dogs and enjoys a polite sniff, but he is truly a people-dog. He thrives on human companionship and would rather hang out with his favorite person than play with a pack. He’s also a total lovebug who lives for belly rubs. At the end of the day, his favorite place is right by your side, soaking up cuddles and affection. He would do best in an active home where he can get regular exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who’ll be your sidekick on adventures and your snuggle buddy at home, Q*Bert is waiting to meet you!

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via FB Messenger or email us at jcasreception@johnsoncounty.in.gov for an application. You can also find one on our website at http://johnsoncountyanimalshelter.com/adopt/. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can set an appointment to meet the pet
