If so, you may want to come and meet our Black Lab Mix, Slinky, to see if he is a good match for your active family. He is just about 6 months old, is a VERY happy guy who would be well-suited for any family. Slinky has a sweet and loving disposition, is very playful and full of puppy energy. He is always looking for something fun to do and is entertained by just about everything! <br/><br/>Slinky is learning how to walk nicely on a leash, doing well with housebreaking and is very smart. Slinky is food and treat motivated and should be easily trainable. Since he is just a puppy, he will need someone with a firm and consistent hand to show him the ropes and provide some much needed basic training. He is a fan of tough toys for chewing, playing outside and being around people. He may even enjoy living with another young, friendly dog.<br/><br/>Slinky is healthy, has a negative fecal test and is current on all vaccines and vet services. His adoption fee is $155, and he will come home with one month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks,and intestinal parasites). Slinky will need to remain on this medication for the remainder of his life ~~ to keep him healthy and happy.<br/><br/>If you are looking for a beautiful and social puppy, come and meet Slinky and give him a wonderful new home with lots of love!
