We’re in urgent need of loving foster homes for puppies 5 months to 1 year old. These adolescents are full of potential but need a safe, nurturing place to grow, learn, and get ready for adoption. Some are playful and social, others a bit shy and in need of confidence - but all of them thrive in a home environment! If you can open your heart and home to a puppy for just a few short weeks, you’ll be giving them the best chance at a happy future. We provide supplies, veterinary care, and support; you provide the love. Whether it’s your first time fostering or you’re a seasoned pro, we’d love to match you with a pup in need! The puppies pictured here have been adopted, but we have many more waiting for foster homes! Fosters must reside within one hour's drive of Albany, NY.

The first step is to complete an adoption application. Please note that at this time we are not able to adopt to residents of Massachusetts due to state regulations, and we are only accepting applications within a 90 minute drive of Albany, NY.

The primary purpose of Peppertree is to help find homes for dogs in need which represent the character and temperament commonly associated with Golden Retrievers: friendliness, intelligence and a peaceful, loving nature.
