Puppers is a sweet boy looking for the right family to give him the love and stability he deserves. Though he is still a puppy, he balances energetic play with gentle companionship. <br/><br/>The rough start to his young life has not dampened his spirits and he warms up quickly to new people. He is a funny little guy and most things are still new to him, so he has a calm and cautious curiosity. <br/><br/>He gets along with other dogs extremely well and integrates seamlessly, following the lead of others. He is not a barker, even when other dogs are. He has shown no signs of being a destructive chewer, but he does enjoy making off with an available sock to be chased. <br/><br/>He loves to be scratched on his chin and ears. He does well on leash, not tugging or resisting direction. <br/><br/>Puppers is looking for a home to offer him love, attention and security. <br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
