6/13/26<br/><br/>Puppy Foster or Foster Adopt Homes Needed! <br/><br/>They're here! Puptart and Pupperella are making their debut. These Lab mix pups are 17 and 21#, respectively, and 4 months old. We believe they are likely Lab and possibly Border Collie mix so they will likely be 50# full grown.<br/><br/>These poor pups likely didn't have a good start in life, and they are both probably 5-10# under weight at this time. They aren't letting this get them down, though. <br/><br/>Puptart (little blonde pup) is a very social girl after just a few minutes of getting to know you. She is VERY treat and food motivated and should be a quick learner. Her waggin' tail and wiggle butt make her as cute as a button and we think she will likely be a good kid dog as well. <br/><br/>Pupperella is the bigger pup, but the most underweight as well. She is a bit more shy and will likely need a little more TLC in a new home. She doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body but would probabaly do best with a bit older children, 10+ years. <br/><br/>These are two very gentle pups, that even tested well with our resident cat, inquisitive but sweet and not too overpowering in their greeting. We think each will make some lucky families great new additions.<br/><br/>Due to their size, activity levels and age, foster to adopt requirements are:<br/><br/>-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.<br/>-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.<br/>-Being able to bring back to our vets office in Adams for additional care, if needed, prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking each to your current vet to be established.<br/>-They are reportedly good with children over 10 years old, dogs and cats.<br/>-Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.<br/>-Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.<br/><br/>An adoption donation of $500 is being asked for each if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. They had their initial vet check, are current on vaccines, dewormings and prescription flea and tick medications and both have been spayed.<br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the veterinary reference check so please be sure to call your veterinarian's office first thing tomorrow morning, so we can get this step out of the way.<br/><br/>Please help us to continue helping those that knock on our doors!<br/><br/>To foster to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form<br/><br/>--------------<br/>Foster to adopt pets are limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams, NY and pets must be taken to our vets office for care until adoption.<br/><br/>All pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
