Pup AC's Story

This little dude just wants some love. More love than we can give him here at the shelter. He wants to be by your side all day every day. He doesn't just want attention, he begs for it! Sometimes he gets his way and gets to spend some time with us in the office (but don't tell the other dogs). He is well tempered and very smart for a pup. One look into his eyes and you can tell he just wants a friend. Will you be his friend? He is about 6 months old.

Meigs County Dog Shelter's Adoption Policy
We want to make sure our adoptions are a forever home for the canines. The application for adoption is done in person, after spending time with the dog. Upon adoption, age appropriate, spay and neuter is a requirement with our local vet. Our staff is also available to help with questions and follow up after adoption. We want the adoption experience to be a positive one for both adopter and canine.
