Pumpkin & Nicco

Pumpkin, 3yo 6lbs and Nicco, 3yo 5lbs are a bonded pair fostered in Bradenton Florida.<br/><br/>Pumpkin and Nicco are owner surrenders due to the owners medical problems. Pumpkin was surrendered first. She was very timid. Then the owner called and asked if we could take the boy. Once Nicco arrived it was obvious they are a bonded pair. Pumpkin became more confident and happy. Nicco and Pumpkin are never far from each other. They must stay together. <br/><br/>Both Nicco and Pumpkin are resting up and recovering well from their spay and neuter surgeries. These two love each other, and they love snuggles with their humans and will ask for them...the more the better. Pumpkin is more timid and takes a bit longer to warm up to other humans, while Nicco is very outgoing and loves everyone from the moment he meets them. Pumpkin is lovable and sweet, she just takes a little longer to adjust to situations and new places. They both get very excited when seeing their leashes. They have lots of energy and love exploring the paths on their walk. Both of them will need some patience and training when it comes to barking at passerby's, mostly at dogs. Inside the house, they get along with other dogs just fine. They are very concerned about each other, and check in on each other often. Nicco wears a belly band/diaper and will need more potty training, while Pumpkin uses indoor pads and goes outdoors to potty. They have been able to lean on and encourage each other while being at their new temporary home. It's a joy watching them play with each other like a couple of puppies. <br/><br/>Pumpkin and Nicco prefer a home without children under the age of 12. A home where they can stay together.
