Pumpkin's Story
Pumpkin is a small, young female Rottweiler. We think she's about 1.5 years old. She weighs about 60 lbs. She is a very happy, friendly, affectionate girl. She loves to play with toys and plays well with dogs who aren't too pushy.

Pumpkin is housebroken and very well behaved in the house. If you're out of the room she'll just hang out and wait for you to come back. She isn't at all destructive. When her foster family leaves the house they baby gate her in a room and she's fine with that. She is crate trained but she doesn't need to be crated. Sometimes she'll just hang out in her crate. She is pretty good on a leash, but is reactive to other dogs when on leash. Her foster parents are working on that. She is very food motivated and easy to train.

Pumpkin came to us with a very bad fracture in her left rear leg. She could not use it at all. Her leg was repaired by an orthopedic specialist. She did great with the surgery and has made a wonderful recovery. Throughout everything she was wonderful. She is so easy to handle.

Pumpkin has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. Her adopter must live within an hour's drive of Atlanta, give or take a little.
