Pumpkin's Story

This little brindle female was surrendered with 90 dogs after they were found living in a mobile home. They had never been outside and the home was covered in urine and feces. Due to this, these dogs are just learning house training and how to be a pet. They are very social despite this beginning. This brindle female was at the front of the cage asking to be picked up. She likes people and will crawl into your lap. She had recently had a litter and is nursing some of the puppies we took from the same group even though we aren't sure if they are her litter. She is so deserving of a home of her own. She is being fostered in Knoxville, TN and her adoption fee is $250. Prior to adoption she will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on preventions.

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy
We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.
