<p><span class="s1">This adorable Chi/Pittie puppy named Pumpkin is from a local litter of 9! They were living outdoors in a backyard, and needed to be brought to safety. He and his siblings e</span><span class="s1">ntered our rescue at 8 weeks old, and are getting ready to find their forever homes!</span></p><br/><br/><p class="p1">Pumpkin is new to indoor living, so he is in training with relieving himself outdoors while in foster. He does sleep every night in the crate, and is learning that this is a safe space for downtime. He is so excited and eager to learn how to be on leash, so continued training will help him master how to take nice long family walks outdoors.</p><br/><br/><p>Pumpkin is very playful and loves all kinds of puppy toys! His most preferred toys are squeaker stuffies! When meeting new people, Pumpkin can be a little shy to warm up, but once he does he LOVES his new acquaintances! He is a true cuddler. Loves to get in your lap and have you rub his tiny belly. He also loves to sit and snuggle with his humans during down time after some lively playtime.</p><br/><br/><p>Pumpkin <span style="font-weight: 400;">is not yet neutered due to his age, but is UTD on vaccinations. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the neuter appt!
