Pumpkin

Pumpkin’s a 7yo 8.5lb Shih Tzu/Terrier mix. He’s dog, cat and kid 13+ friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. He does wear a belly band since with his arthritis doesn’t move too fast to get to the door, doesn’t do stairs but is fine with being carried out. He is best with a fenced in yard since isn’t a fan of the leash and just goes out to potty & back in. He’s very cuddly and affectionate once he warms up and likes to play and lounge. If men in the home he seems to prefer men first in the home than warms up to everyone else with time.<br/><br/>Pumpkin MUST have a secured fenced in yard along with someone who understands his physical needs. He walks different from deformed legs due to severe neglect but he is still a lively guy with a lot of life. He needs to continue to gain weight but should never be overweight due to his legs. If you DO NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet.
