Hey there, Pumpkin here! I am a 2-year-old female Italian Greyhound/Jack Russell mix, around 20 lbs. I have been with my foster mom for a few weeks now so she can tell you all about me. Keep in mind that we all have idiosyncrasies, and some are more endearing than others.

A little bit about my best side first. I know my name and I always come when I am called. I am house broken and I am not a chewer. I love my foster mom and I always want to make her happy. Cuddling up with my mom is the best! I love to run, run, run, in the backyard! I like to chase birds with my Doxie foster brother so I am looking for a forever home with a securely fenced in yard.

Next, a little about my less endearing side. I am not crazy about being in a crate and I will cry a lot so I would like a home where I can be out and about with my people most of the time. I am not really a barker, maybe a bit of a cry baby, but when foster mom says stop, I will stop. I do not like big dogs or small dogs that come up in my face when I don't know them, they scare me so I lash out. Foster mom is helping me learn to walk away instead. A home without small children is probably best for me too.

We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
